Sonixtrip to play The Harp in February 2009 with The Postmodernists

Sonixtrip have been asked to play the 9pm slot with The Postmodernists next February 2009 at The Harp Hotel (900 Princes Hwy, Tempe). Entry will be $10 and everything kicks off at 8pm.

We’ll be getting our drink on with good friends Las Armas and new acts.

Grand Final: Set List

So it turns out for the Sutherland Smash final we actually get a 20 minute set — which basically means one extra song. Those of you who have been to these short 15 minute shows will realise I don’t actually play guitar during any of it. Reason is because it means we can play a really engaging 15 minute show with minimal breaks and sound check.

Picking the 4th song will be interesting because we’ll still try and pick another song we’re its not 100% necessary for me to play guitar. Our 4th song of choice is generally Inflection which always needs a second guitar, followed by Take which really takes advantage of the two guitars (but only in the chorus).

Mr. Steve Hine, Rawlings, Jared and Jye have won their semi-final and are heading to their final show at Club Menai — the Grand Final.

Friday, October 24 @ 7pm - Club Menai.

There are some big prizes up for grabs including audio recordings, video production, heaps of promo, some cash-money and more.

We want you there. The set will be about 20 minutes and the whole night starts at 7pm. We had a fucking awesome time with you all over the past few sessions and hope to share a drink with you all again.

We’ll be heading out afterwards to Dirty C’s or Oatley — so make sure you stick around.
